PMA Companies has named Dean Butler, Vice President, Southwest Regional Officer. Mr. Butler is responsible for leading PMA Companies’ Southwest Region. Based in PMA’s Dallas, Texas Office, he reports to Ken Stanley, Senior Vice President, Distribution Management and Field Operations, PMA Companies.

Mr. Butler has over 25 years of commercial insurance experience in positions of increasing responsibility in the underwriting, business development/marketing, and claims areas. Most recently he was Executive National Accounts Practice Leader at The Hartford, where he was responsible for advancing the growth of the company’s primary casualty lines.
Mr. Butler is a graduate of Texas A&M University and is a candidate for the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
