PMA Companies has named Rebecca Parker Kassel as Assistant Vice President, Midwest Insurance Claims Operation. Ms. Kassel is based in the company’s Midwest Regional Claims Office in Schaumburg, Illinois and reports directly to Ray DiCello, Senior Vice President and Chief Claims Officer, PMA Companies.
“Rebecca’s extensive leadership background and claims expertise will support PMA’s continued delivery of high levels of claim performance and service excellence throughout the Midwest,” says DiCello.
DiCello adds that, “This newly created position reflects PMA’s continued investment in our Midwest claims operation and the company’s growth and expansion throughout the region. We continue to write workers’ compensation and casualty insurance for many large employers in the Midwest, including major healthcare systems, manufacturers, educational institutions, and retail/wholesale operations.”
Ms. Kassel has 20 years of insurance claims expertise. Previously, she was Director of Workers’ Compensation Claims for FCCI Insurance Group and her background includes over 10 years at The Hartford in various technical and leadership roles, including enterprise-wide responsibility for complex and large claims.
A graduate of Wheaton College, Ms. Kassel has a Juris Doctor and a Master of Business Administration from Western New England College School of Business and a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
