Given annually by Risk & Insurance magazine since 1994, the Teddy Award honors excellence in workers’ compensation risk management. The award was named for President Theodore “Teddy” Roosevelt, who introduced one of the first pieces of significant workers’ compensation legislation in the U.S. We congratulate our award-winning clients for their achievements and commitment to workers’ compensation excellence:
Teddy Award criteria include achieving measurable performance results, as well as creativity and resourcefulness in solving workers’ compensation challenges. A panel of industry professionals, including past Teddy Award winners, selects the winners. Top winners will participate in Steal These Ideas! Teddy-Award Winning Employers Showcase Their Successful Strategies session at the National Workers’ Compensation & Disability Conference, a gathering of over 2,000 workers’ compensation professionals, in Las Vegas, December 5-7.
