PMA Companies has appointed Ram Veeramani as Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer (CIO). In his new role, Mr. Veeramani will oversee PMA’s Information Services (IS) Department and technology strategy and platform. Mr. Veeramani will join PMA’s Executive Staff and report directly to Derek Hopper, PMA President & CEO.
“I am confident that Ram is the right person to lead our IS Department into the future,” said Hopper. “His unique skills, experiences, and capabilities will help us evolve our IS capabilities in support of our corporate strategy and client service objectives.”
Mr. Veeramani joined PMA Companies as Deputy CIO in September 2022. He has deep insurance industry knowledge and over 25 years of Information Systems strategy and execution experience in a variety of growth environments, including core systems modernization and digital enablement programs.
A graduate of PSG College of Arts & Sciences and NYU Tandon School of Engineering, Mr. Veeramani holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Computer Science & Information Systems.
